The Knoll International Barcelona table, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lily Reich for the German Pavilion at the 1929 World Exhibition, is characterized by a pure compositional structure, a sleek rectangular design with an 'X'-shaped frame of flat steel beams, and a square tabletop of 1.5 cm thick glass. The frame is made of polished chrome and consists of one piece. This minimalist design makes the Barcelona table an iconic example of modernist design from the early 20th century. This version is from the 1970s and is in reasonably good vintage condition with superficial scratches on the top and small chips on the corners of the top, hence the good price. The frame is in very good condition.
