This set of four chairs was designed in 1984 in Norway by Torstein Nilsen for Westnofa. The chair is of high-quality and made of natural oak. The fabric on the seat is blue with a typical 1980s pattern. The separate legs of the 'fan-shaped' in the backrest are 'connected' with each other by solid wooden balls. The chair has a beautiful sculptural form and is a good example of Scandinavian Modernism and architectural Postmodernism. Perhaps a bit unexpected, but it is also very comfortable with its slightly curved ergonomic backrest and soft seat. In good vintage condition, with very light signs of use.
